Straddling Wappinger Creek in Wappinger Falls, New York, the buildings at the Market Street Industrial Park date back to 1832 and originally housed a calico printing factory called the Dutchess Print Works. During the early 1900s, they were sold to a new owner and became the Dutchess Bleachery, where cotton was bleached as part of the textile manufacturing process.

the loading dock reminds me of john lennon and i’m not sure why.

I photographed the door because it looked like a face to me too. It took awhile, but now I can see why you were reminded of Lennon: the black hanging strips are like shoulder-length hair that is parted down the middle; the windows look like a pair of reflective sun glasses. If they were round, the resemblance to Lennon would be even closer
