I’m a big fan of photographs whose subject matter is not immediately apparent upon first viewing, and those that have something to say over and beyond their subjects. In the same way, I’m drawn to images taken with a camera and minimally manipulated that look like an entirely different medium. It’s nice to get away every now and then from recording “reality” as our eyes do all the time.
Terrific semi-abstractions. Your subtle handling of light and line here is a testament to your finely-tuned eye. Great series.

John said it well. Especially liking the fourth one. Good Sunday to you!

Thanks Lynn. The fourth is my favorite too. It feels more like a painting than a photograph.
