Nice moldering, lichen-encrusted, crumbling old stones. Was the one on the grass a child? Probably. That’s a beautiful image. I love the cemeteries upstate – these are familiar, fondly remembered sights (it’s not the same look here).
Do you get over to Quaker Hill? Have you been in the Akin Free Library?
Thanks Lynn. I haven’t spent any time in Pawling yet but will definitely check out Quaker Hill and the library if I’m ever in the vicinity. A Google search reveals that I’ve definitely been missing something.
