Thanks Linda. It was an interesting exercise in photographic process. When I first noticed the chair, I tried one angle that would align its shadows with those of the fence. As I did that, my feet kept getting in the picture so I moved to another side of the chair, took the one shot seen here, then went back to my original impulse and made some more exposures. Lo and behold, this was the only image that really worked.
What an appealing juxtaposition of shapes and contrasting tones.
