Thanks Lynn. Like you, I wanted to acknowledge the Las Vegas carnage but didn’t feel it belonged in my memorial to victims of terrorism. I tried creating something new but it wasn’t quite right.
This was a photo I was planning to post before the violence and I hesitated using it because the specific subject matter had nothing to do with the killings. In the end though, I took a risk and it seems that you got it: A window looks out on a street at night. A bright light shines but there is no life left where people and cars are usually seen. Nothing is in focus.
