Thank you Lynn. When I returned the next day, the doors (hinges and peeling paint) were all gone, the front framing was no longer exposed, and the Trump graffiti was painted over.
Got it, but seriously, it’s so sad when beloved little sites are “improved” and lost to us – it’s already happened here, even though I’ve been here only five years. And in your case, the very next day.
This was a three-story house that had fallen into total disrepair and was now undergoing a gut renovation based on the original footprint. This is happening all over town now and, frankly, it’s nice to see: total dumps and abandoned eyesores being turned into really interesting-looking and still modestly-sized homes. I don’t see that as a problem so much as the demographic changes that accompany it.
I was missing the Trump dumps. :-) When I see your photographs, I realize I have been passing up possibilities all over the place. You do not!

Our president’s daily behavior keeps me on my toes unfortunately.

I bet Linda was talking about more than Trump – this is such a nice selection of odds and ends from around the site.
