Fall and winter….the Leaf Medley is full of so much happy color, it’s wonderful. There’s something about the snow photo that’s odd in a good way. I think it’s the composition, so tight, and the darkness, which play off the soft snow. Maybe.

As the mashup materialized for the snow photo, it began to resemble an old, faded snapshot and that’s the look I went with. Maybe that’s what you’re responding to also.

It’s snowing as I write this but I have yet to work up the ambition to go out and shoot. I think these shots will help.
