I’m going to disagree with Ken, and say I like the first two more. The second one – what a carefully composed image that is! The first has a nice film feeling, too.
Glad you enjoyed the first two images Lynn. The second functions almost as an abstract color composition for me. I also like the third a lot because of its woodcut quality, which I might want to further explore in the coming months.
I like the way you’ve worked repeating motifs in a trio of diverse images. “Not Saved” is fantastic… both for its abstract qualities and for its spiritual/social commentary (which really made me smile). Glad you saved the file… :)
Thanks John for picking up on the motifs these images share. I thought they worked together but it wasn’t something that I bothered to consciously articulate. You’ve given me reason to look at them again in a more considered way.
Not that the other images are not interesting but the bonus image is outstanding!

Glad you liked Ken. It took at least 4 so-so’s and several time-consuming failures to get to that image.

Agreed about the second photo, and exploring the woodcut look sounds like a good idea.
