Thanks Peter. I can’t look at this image without thinking of Tank Man, the civilian facing down a column of Chinese army tanks during the 1989 Tiananmen Square protests. Big difference here of course: Busses, let alone tanks, weren’t even close, and my subject was just crossing the street :)

Apparently the fate of the courageous protester is still unclear.
I’m sorry to have spoiled the fun. I may be the only person in the world who has that association :) It certainly wasn’t in my mind when I took the picture.
