Thanks Linda. The first photo is from my old apartment, the bottom two from my new one. Whatever melancholy you may find in the images is unrelated to my actual experience of moving to Springfield, MA. Apartment/location/friend-wise, I’m a thousand times happier here than I was in Beacon.
Haven’t had much time to spend with my camera while unpacking, but being in a much larger city affords a much greater range of subject matter. Curious to see where that takes me.
Delicately beautiful. Is it only because I know (per Lynn’s blog) that you are moving that these have a touch of melancholy?
