You’re right Linda, it isn’t a composite. I think it’s those large white rectangles on the upper left side that are part of the crosswalk but appear to be an overlay that give it that feeling. They certainly fool me whenever I open the image.
Thanks Lynn. I can’t recall seeing another crosswalk as busy as this one that didn’t have people in it. The setting sun made all the difference as you can see when compared to the Street View location link.
I ought to go to your location links more often. They are such a good object lesson about finding photographs with merely your eye and not with expensive trips to exotic locations.
