It’s mashup time, and these are terrific – I like the palette, but you always do manage to put together great colors in the mashups. And the titles are exemplary. :-)
That muddy, almost sickly palette in the second picture is something I’ve been drawn to lately. It feels both attractive and repellent simultaneously, kind of like the smell that emanates from paper mills :)
I know what you’re saying about muddy, in those yellowish beige areas, but it didn’t strike me that way; I just got a nice subdued feeling. But speaking of sickly, when we had all the smoke here recently, that was the color of the sky, all day. No definition, just a thick, yellowish beige. It hardly mattered on the worst days, because it was too nasty to go out. I hope we don’t get too much more of it, and I really feel for the folks who are still in the middle of it.
These are fantastic images, Alan, and clever use of multi-exposure. It is multiexposure, isn’t it?
