Such a beautiful treatment of fallen leaves – the hiding orange leaf in the center makes me keep looking.

Thanks so much Lynn. Except for those orange leaves, it’s not a palette I normally associate with fall.
Lovely. And do I detect a touch of tone-mapping?
Thanks. Not tone mapping as I recall but some other small adjustments to give it a more painterly feel. The lighting was very soft and flat and the colors, pretty much as they appear in the photo.
It has a glow to it. I’ve never messed with tone-mapping or hdr, but recall seeing that same kind of glow.
Very perceptive. I’m impressed!
Not sure that I know the right terminology/technique.
A pinch of Photoshop Diffuse Glow filter (also a variant in Nik Collection I think) combined with a tinch of PS Oil Paint to soften things a bit.
The Pinch and Tinch technique: doesn’t everyone do that in one form or other? :)
I’m more of a Tweak and Squeak kind of guy…. ;-)
:)
