I have suspected that there might be opportunities for photography there. I went to our local golf course once on a Sunday morning after a big snow storm. I took a few photographs then but I was so uncomfortable there that I never went back. I think I was shooting Tri-X so it was a long time ago… :-)
Funny you should say that. The first time I noticed this scene was a few weeks ago when the course was covered with snow. I was in my car and didn’t have time to pull over. Hopefully I’ll be in that area again when conditions are the same.
Much appreciated Lynn. The straight shot didn’t capture the feeling I wanted and it took awhile to get something that worked without going off the deep end.
I really like this one, Alan. My kind of photograph… :-)

Thanks Mic. Who knew a golf course could provide a view that either of us might want to photograph?

Maybe I’ll try to revisit a golf course this winter too.

I’ll look forward to your photos Mic. Just be sure you dress warmly enough this time around :)

And I to yours, Alan. My discomfort had to do more with being on a golf course than the winter weather. :-)

And a lovely hazard at that! Standing straight and tall. The processing shows them off to great effect.
