You get so much from one subject. These are great – the reflections make them special but even without those, the details and shadows are beautifully done.
No, Linda G. might have a guess. If there was nothing that color around, then it must have to do with certain colors going through the glass and others being absorbed by it, which may relate to the coatings on the glass. That’s pretty feeble but it’s the best i can do. :-)
One thing I like about the sun is that you don’t have to cart it around in a case with a light stand, or spend several minutes on set-up. It always acts as the professional it is, and occasionally, produces fascinating effects that just beg to be photographed.
