Thanks Ken. If you create enough steam, as happened when I ran the dryer that sits opposite the tub, your bathroom too might become worth photographing.
We have the washer & dryer in the bathroom too, but it doesn’t usually get that steamy. This makes me nostalgic for those old simple, classic black & white floor tiles. Out here there’s lots of hideous linoleum made to look like stone, but missing by a mile. OK, now I’m remembering a home where I was doing landscaping (in Westchester) where the flooring throughout the ground floor was done with large squares of natural stone, shipped in from France….via a little creative bookkeeping, I think, and charged to clients’ accounts. Nothing like walking barefoot on that (when the master was away) on a hot summer day. :-)
My bathroom is not the least bit photogenic. Nice work, Alan

My recipe for good steam: leaky windows, cold temperatures outside, an old dryer (maybe), and a closed bathroom door.

P.S. If you’re that nostalgic for classic B&W floor tiles, Lynn, you’re always welcome to clean mine :)
Amazing how scuffed and dirty these get even though most of the traffic they get is house slippers.
