I’ve been looking at these – there were piles of them in front of the house we stayed at outside Amsterdam, and then more when I got back home….I didn’t do anything as exceptional as what you did here. Wonderful designs and variations on the theme. The black and white, too – perfect. A zen acquaintance likes to tell a story each spring about a Zen teacher – I believe it was Soen Roshi – who would stand under blossoming cherry trees with his mouth open, catching the flower petals.

Thanks Lynn.
Fun story about Soen Roshi. Wonder what the petals taste like. I tend to prefer my cherries from a bowl :)
