Thanks John. This was a nice event: lots of people but very mellow and plenty of room to move around and get close to the stage if one wanted to — not to mention a wonderful group of musicians performing for the hour or so I was there.
Afterwards I felt bad that I didn’t photograph any of them but during the set, I was pretty much focused on the audience. Glad though I got the shot of the scrim with Charles Neville’s photo on it. The festival is in honor of him.
This series gets me in the mood to watch Jazz On A Summer’s Day. Nice work on the Neville piece 👍

Sounds (oh no, that’s missing!) like it was a good time. I like the 2nd – 5th photos best, they convey a lot. :-)
