Great finds, and wow what a lot of duct tape….this was a rewarding stroll…well titled, too. Speaking of titles, Pictograph in Pink is brilliant, both because it IS like a pictograph and for the reference to pretty in pink. I had to look up campanile. I like the complexity of Passing Through. Two Men is beautifully seen and processed – it has a classic kind of look. Don’t ask me what that means, OK? I might accept a substitute for duct tape but I certainly would never accept any substitute for Pixetera.
Thanks for the kind words Lynn. Two Men is a pretty straightforward shot without much processing. The fun back story is that it depicts myself and a stranger who had stopped to ask what I was doing. Where I saw drips in the window paint (somewhat similar to those in number 2), he saw numbers and the Arabic word for God.
If he is right, that must be the best-kept secret in all of Springfield :)
