Thanks Lynn. It’s interesting that according to NASA, water covers 71 percent of the earth’s surface. I once read that the Pacific Ocean covers almost half the planet.
Hmm, I guess that’s why it’s so expensive to fly to Australia….seriously though, that’s a good point. We earth-dwellers easily forget what the land to ocean, or water, ratio is. Now I’m wondering if they include water locked up as ice – I bet they do.
