Thanks Lynn. I was holding onto this leaf for many weeks to track how it decomposed. This is the same one that appeared in my previous post.
The pleasant shape and strong patterns of dieffenbachia leaves, plus the fact that they manage to hang around for so long after falling off the plant, make them a favorite subject of mine. I’m saving several in different stages now for future photography.
And yes, it’s amazing how paper-like this one became.
Fantastic, Alan. The first looks so much like paper, it’s uncanny, and the second also has an unreal feeling somehow – in a good way.
