Thanks. Years ago, I would have settled for each of the two images by themselves, but nowadays I like seeing if there’s anything more I can pull from them.
This has kind of a 30’s look and it makes me think of music – I guess a piano – that’s obvious. Does one of the photos include pavement? –
Yes, pavement is a big part of one photo; an exterior black metal staircase in the other.
Now that you mention a piano, see if Braque’s paintings of musical instruments in the early 1900s doesn’t evoke a similar feeling.
