Thanks Linda. Between the cold weather and Covid I’ve been spending a lot of time indoors these days. The kitchen, I’ve found, is full of interesting photographic subjects completely apart from food.
Oh, no. And you were boosted, too! I’m sorry but glad that your quarantining doesn’t mean you won’t have suitable subjects for your photography. Hope you feel better very soon.
Thanks Linda. Fortunately the sore throat I had was only really bad for about two days. (Not sure I could have gotten through the worst of it without Ricola :)
Did lose my sense of smell though five days after exposure and not sure how long that will last.
Certainly hope that you pull through unscathed. How are the infection and vaccination rates where you are?
My county is the worst one in Ohio for infection, and it’s not very good at vaccination. The city of Oberlin, however, is the best in the county, so I’m hoping my trips to the grocery store won’t do me in. My best friend here just got exposed yesterday. We’d been used to taking a walk and playing Rummikub nearly every day, and I will miss her. I’m hanging in—so far so good, but then how many people know if they have it if they are symptom free?
Same here – got the booster, don’t go out much, trying to be safe. But I know it could happen, I just hope it won’t be anything serious if it does. I hope you get over it soon. Take care!
Excellent, Alan! I love your abstracts of common objects.

I love #1 – 3, just wonderful, the way they appear monumental or made from concrete or, or…

Exactly! That’s what attracted me.

You’ve done that before…I’ve always loved anything that plays with scale. So have a tiny holiday, Alan!

Thanks Lynn, and the same to you — minus the mild case of Covid that will make my holiday very tiny as I quarantine.
Be careful out there: I’ve done next-to-zero socializing, got my booster, and still couldn’t escape the virus.
