These signs in the Palmetto State
Are two on which I cogitate.
Who, I ask, will come here first:
Circle K to quench cars’ thirst,
Or Jesus on a second date?

Jesus is not coming. He came once before and look what happened.

I pass these signs whenever I leave my house heading north. They are on opposite sides of the road, not more than 100 yards apart. The one on the left went up recently; the Jesus one has been there for at least 11 years according to Google Street view.
But as official South Carolina license plates now say: “While I breathe, I hope.” I’ve managed to cover most of that motto by installing my license plate holder upside down :)

Wow, Alan, that’s a good one! My smile won’t fade very quickly, it’ll keep on cogitating on this. :-)
