I was late to the digital revolution Mic, and the same goes for drones — which I have yet to acquire. This image was taken looking straight down from the third floor of a parking garage.
Being a Taurus, I prefer not to stray too far from the ground :)
Ah! A parking garage. We don’t have any of those nearby which partly explains why I couldn’t figure it out. And then coupled with a long focal length lens?…the detail in the brick/concrete is cool and unexpected!
Well, I’m one of those guys who is always on the cutting edge. I got a drone a couple of years ago. It’s about the size of a silver dollar so I can’t really hurt myself with it. But it doesn’t have a camera and it won’t lift my Nikon.
The street lamp was in a pedestrian walkway and not that high off the ground. I was only one or two stories above it so a short telephoto did the trick.
Interesting perspective on the street lamp, Alan. You must have gotten a drone!!
