I hope you’re doing most of this from your windows. :-) I love “Branching Out” and the pick-up, too, with the blurred man. Seeing the bed full of snow, something about that, and then you notice the man. Nice atmosphere.

I had several other shots of the man by the truck shoveling but this one of him with shoulders hunched had a melancholy quality I liked. It reminded me of the feeling one gets from some Hopper paintings or a Gregory Crewdson image.
Nice series, Alan. I didn’t need to go out today and I’m happy to just stay at home on days like this. You certainly made the most of it.

Exactly, and for me, the snow in the truck bed has that feeling too.
